Supply & Installation of Solar Submersible Pumps for 150-200 feets, 200-250 feet at Tarnab Peshawar, Khyber Pukhtun Khwa (KPK)

The project was initiated by Agriculture Department KPK to install solar pumps in different districts of KPK. The project’s aim was to facilitate the local farmers by replacing the conventionally fuel operated pumps with solar powered pumps, hence reducing their cost of irrigation.The project was divided into two categories. The details of which are as follows:150 – 200 m Category:In this category, there were 74 pumps which are installed as follows:

• Peshawar District – 17 pumps 
• D.I. Khan District – 9 pumps
• Haripur District – 9 pumps
• Mansehra District – 8 pumps
• Batkhela District – 8 pumps
• Kohat District – 8 pumps
• Mardan District – 7 pumps
• Bannu District – 4 pumps
• Swat District – 4 pumps
